27 Kansas City Chiefs $-275,000
Considering their current cap situation, the Chiefs are going have trouble finding (and paying for) the help they need on the defensive side of the ball. The good news is that the team does not have any impact UFAs to worry about re-signing and only 4 RFAs to tender offers. Releasing Vonnie Holliday got them close to the cap, thanks to the $6.225 M savings. GM Carl Peterson has gone on record as stating that the team should be about $4.5 M under the cap by March 2. So look for some more minor moves here and there.

Some guy on NFL Total Access reported the Chiefs at $4.5M under...

Minor moves, as in:

Cut Morton, Hicks..

Restructure Warfield, Green, Gonzalez, Holmes, anybody else that wants to help out....

Injury settlement: Barber, MaSLOWski, anybody else that needs it..

Hell, while I'm at it, might as well make some REAL news....Reassign CeePee to Pres/CEO only and hire Pioli as GM effective yesterday....

Anything else? :)
