Not that I know of. This is going to be interesting, IMO.

As far as I know, he's not in the NFL's drug and alcohol program. 1st offense is a slap on the wrist and mandatory testing. 2nd offense is 1 game suspension. 3rd offense is 4 games. 4th offense is 1 year.

Can anybody tell me when Warfield was suspended for 1 game?

I think you hit the nail on the head. I keep hearing alot of chatter on here about him being suspended for 4 games but can't find any official ruling from the league on it.

I guarantee he will be suspended for 4 games sometime this year. Gives him some more time to get wasted.

If they suspend him for more than 1 game, the NFLPA is gonna have a fit.

I am not sure this is going to be a suspension based on the drug and alcohol policy. I think it will be a suspension based on a felony conviction. I am not sure how many games you can get for that, I think it is up to the Commisioner.

Based upon the CBA, the NFL can't punish a player for drug and alcohol related convictions unless it's under the guidelines set forth in the CBA.

I think that applies to any drug or alcohol related crime. But, I'm not an attorney - obviously.

Why couldn't William Bartee be suspended? For like 16 games?

From the goalposts, like a pinata.

They don't want to do anything that might increase his chances of getting his hands on a ball.
