Michael Eisen, of Giants.com, reports the New York Giants have ended their pursuit of free agent WR Plaxico Burress (Steelers), who visited the team Wednesday, March 9. "The New York Giants are no longer interested in free agent wide receiver Plaxico Burress and have withdrawn their offer," general manager Ernie Accorsi said.

For all you Plaxico nuts :)

They've got shit at the WR position. Wonder what turned them off that quickly.

The guy is bad news. He was on a 15-1 team and was bitching about not getting enough passes.

Might as well pick him up, everybody else in our division has a big stud WR except for us!

It wont happen, but it would be fun to dream

So Basically he is fooked...does Pittsburgh even want him back?

I think the Raiders might need some more receivers...

We don't want this guy. He'll complain about Tony G. catching too many of his passes.

Let it go.

If it's really the case that no one wants him and he keeps on falling down in market value, I may eventually grab him at a reduced price if I were the Chiefs. Having no one want you has to be a kick in the face, ego-wise. Maybe it will do him some good. He's extremely talented, and he'd be on #1 receiver. I can't imagine him having too much to complain about -- balls would definitely come his way.
