View Full Version : I think we should start a McCaffery pool......

I don't have much smack left this year but I think we should start a pool as to how many times Eddie 'the wuss' McCaffery fakes an injury this Sunday.

The only ones that count are when they have to stop play so he can 'regain' his composure. That neck wiggle he does everytime after a catch doesn't count.

My guess....3

How about a pool for how many times he flops faking pass interferance. I think he'll do it AND get away with it (ie: get the flag) at least twice sunday. Romo will get away with 44 cheap shots and only be flagged once for a late hit out of bounds (on Gonzo, no less). I think next year's games will have both Gonzo & Romo being thrown out at least once.

I'll go for 5.
1 for each Qtr and 1 extra, since the game means something to them.

On a side note, How many times will there QB complain about the crowd noise?

I say 2

I can't stand the guy, but I've got him on my fantasy team, and he can flat-out produce.

I wonder how many catches he'd get if he would visit a chiropractor?

We could do the Romo cheap hit thing but since they don't stop the clock for all of them they would be hard to count.

Wuss?? The guy goes all out on every play. I'm a bit shocked that you guys think he's a wuss.

Does he act a little...? Maybe, but I dare say that it's no different than most of your NBA players and I gurandamntee you that a lot of NFL WRs act and beg the refs for penalites in EVERY NFL game.

You guys are amazing...

LOL@Brad, I was wondering when you would respond.

You're welcome for amazing you. It does get a little tiring though to see Eddie roll around on the ground 3 or 4 times a game only to pop up and come back in a play later. You hit the nail on the head, it is acting most of the time.

I didn't even mention his Oscar winning performances whenever he thinks he was interfered with. I know they all do that.

Put me down for 3 as well. I'm glad you didn't start a pool on the little neck flop old "twitch McCaffery" does. We would be talking tripple digits there!

I agree with Brad,
Eddie MaC is one TOUGH S.O.B.! He's far from being a wuss. They guy will go up and try to catch anything anywhere on the field. I will say that he is one heck of an actor though. I'm betting that he'll "flop" at least 3 times!

I didn't say "most of the time", but I will say that he acts a "little bit of the time".

Tell me this... would you guys like to have Ed in a KC uniform?

I stand corrected, you did say little.

I am for anyone that can catch and put big numbers up....even if he is a 'WUSSY BOY'.

If we lose Lockett, I'd like to see Ed in a KC Uni because I think he's more of a possession WR anywhere but Denver. If not, I think we have better receivers than he is. I do admire his heart though. He's taken what little talent he has and made himself into a top 10 AFC WR on a consistent basis.

WUSSY BOY...WUSSY BOY...CHICKEN NECK WUSSY BOY!!!!!!

I know this is extremely weak smack but I do think I struck a nerve... :)<BR>

I think that all Wide Receivers should be black. That's why I don't like McCaffrey!

Now, there's a hot sports opinion...

What is your stance on QBs?

Phil: LOL, careful now, you will get some newbe that will take you serious and start off on a 1400 thread rant about you being a racist bastage. http://www.chiefsplanet.com/ubb/smile.gif

Bob Dole doesn't know who Spurt will decide should cover Wussy-boy Ed, so Bob Dole can't state an opinion.

Brad - I think that QB's should be black, too. Only linemen, kickers, safeties, fullbacks, & linebackers should be white.

Do I have him hooked yet, Bwana?

Just because you are tough, doesn't mean you can't be a wuss...if he wasn't a wuss...he'd get up and go back to the huddle and not say a word...and that giraffe, swan lake, neck thing...well, that is just too much...

Ed is the Wuss of Swan Lake.

Ed may not be a wuss, he just plays one on TV.

I'm the token board racist. Every board has one. You'll just have to put up with my first admendment rights until I get tired of being a Chiefs fan which will be never....
