Anyone catch playbook?

Playbook crew is discussing offseason moves. Topic rolls around to Baltimore.

Glen Parker tagged picking up Samari Rolle as a "Stop-gap" measure, and a good move. Then goes on to say "Is Samari Rolle as good as Gary Baxter? Probably not, but its still a good move by Baltimore to get this guy."

Ive just lost all faith in anything Glen Parker has to say from this point forward. If he thinks that Gary Baxter is better than Samari Rolle, he's out of his skull.

On a side note, Solomon Wilcots gave the Chiefs props for picking up Bell, and signing Sammy Knight. He said that Sammy intercepts passes every time he watches him play, and that it was a great move by the Chiefs to bring him into that secondary.

Glenn's a good guy. I had the pleasure of working with him last year.

I don't think he's that far off from Rolle, but he's not there yet.

But Rolle is no stop-gap.

While I'm no Rolle supporter he's leaps and bounds better than Baxter...

We'll see how healthy Rolle is this year. Glenn may turn out to be right.

I'm still glad we didn't sign him, I'd rather have Surtain.

Unfortunately, who we still have is Bartee and McCleon.

Be afraid. Be very afraid.
