View Full Version : It's the Holiday Season, so why not

The Chiefs are more than more player or coach from getting to the Super Bowl. However, if you could ask Santa to put either one player, or one coach from any team in the NFL underneath your Christmas Tree, who would it be and Why?
I would take Edgerin James. I think he has the biggest upside potential with his size, speed and great hands, not to mention the fact that he's already a superstar in his early 20's. He would look awfully good in Red and Gold, and would compliment a very effective pass game. How nice would it be to have a ball control offense in place when you have the lead in the 3rd/4th qtr?
Who is at the top of your wish list?

Atlanta's Offensive Line Coach - Shell
Seattle's Special Teams Coach - Rodriguez
Jets' GM Parcells
Indy's Offensive Coordinator - Moore
Baltimore's Defensive Coordinator - Lewis
Baltimores's LB Coach - Del Rio
Ram's WR's coach as OC - Saunders
Oklahoma's Head Coach - Stoops

How could I have forgotten Warren Sapp. To the top of the list.

I'd be greedy and ask Santa for one of each:
Eddie George...James is an astro turf back, George is a back period.

As much as I LOVE QB-crushing, I would not take Sapp. This team needs a RB far more than it needs a DT [I cannot BELIVE I am saying this].
delaying gratification for the betterment of the team.<BR>

It looks I picked the wrong week to quit sniffing glue!

His ability to run and catch the ball would complement our new 'passing' offense.

Brian Shay? No...wait...Mike Peterson.

If I can pick only one player OR one coach, I would pick a coach. I think that a coach can have a longer impact on the whole team than a player, and rarely does a coach blow out his knee.
That said, it is a toss up between the Tuna and the Walrus.
We need a coach with an animal nickname
