Clutch 3 by Wake to tie it up. 1.3 sec left and Wake ball.

One of the best games I've seen in quite awhile. Great finish too. It's what makes the tournament so great.

Well there goes my bracket.....I had Wake winning it all.

Did anyone see the Wake Forest players shaking hands after the game? Geez, what a concept....

That was spectacular. Well worth the time I invested in viewing. If the NBA could put up that kind of entertainment, I'd watch. But their games don't matter, so it's crappy entertainment.

My bracket is officially dead...

As of last night, I had only missed about 5 (KU, Stanford, Pitt, and UCLA)...I went on to miss Boston College, Utah, and Oklahoma--OK had been in my Final Four. Well, I figured that 2nd place might be possible as long as Wake Forest and UConn went on to the Championship as planned, but that dream is dead. :cuss: :banghead:

West Virginia was trying their hardest to keep Wake in the game by missing most of their free throws at the end. That turnover by Wake trying to find the three point shot was the nail in the coffin.

Good, entertaining game.

Not me; NEVER feel sorry for an ACC/SEC/BigEast team.....except Georgetown against Villanova in '83... :banghead:

I honestly figured if Washington somehow made it to the "Elite Eight" They would have to face either Weak Florist or Gonzaga.. I'm feeling pretty good about how things are shaping up.. As long as we can find a way to beat the Georgia Tech Louisville winner..

I'm getting way too far ahead of myself here..

Go Huskies!

Amazing end to a game. I was born in West Virginia, I'm almost afraid to admit, so I always keep half on eye on their basketball and football teams. Nice to see them do something for a change.

No way you're going to win in the sweet-16 after a marathon like that, though. :shake:

Great game... I didn't get switched over to it until the Kentucky game was over, but it seemed like the last couple minutes plus overtime took an hour to play... great drama. After everyone at ESPN and CBS went on and on about Wake and how "if they play defense they can win it all"... I don't know, it just seems like when a team has that kind of problem (defensive lapses), bad things happen, and it happened for Wake tonight.

That W. Virginia/Texas Tech game should be really fun to watch, there will be some really efficient offensive play... WV with their Princeton-style game and Texas Tech and Bob Knight run the motion offense as well as anybody. Should be a great matchup.
