Sorry bout the spelling; I've just heard about it....from friends, and that Sublime song.

This will be an evening including a little Texas Hold'em and some of the finest beer in the world. Alaskan Amber. Most of you had never had it, and that's just too bad for you.

As for me, at the moment I'm having a Bud. I've got some Blue Moon in the fridge... picked it up because I'd seen talk of it on here lately... but, I don't think it's for me. Could be the cold I'm getting over, though.

Here in a bit I'll be strolling to the bar. Meeting up w/ some friends I haven't hung out with in awhile to celebrate my triumphant return to Scottsdale.

Im having a Smithwick's Imported Irish Ale compliments of a Phobia Medley Six-Pack. IN the medley, 3 of the 6 beers are Smithwicks, which lends me to believe that these were his least favorite. Heh.

Not bad, first taste was a bit stiff.

And not that any of this will be earth shattering, but "Miss Congeniality 2: Armed and Fabulous," and "Beauty Shop" are both total crap. But that's just my opinion...

How could either be good? They are sequels to crappy movies.

That's at least part of why I said none of this would be earth shattering. But in all seriousness, from an entertainment standpoint, "Miss Congeniality" was enjoyable... it was cute, but nothing more. And "Barber Shop," although I've never seen it, got pretty good reviews, IIRC.

Both were decent movies, IMO. I guess I'm not that critical of a movie watcher. Favorite movie this year was National Treasure.

Actually - no. The Pales were my least favorite. I actually enjoyed those Irish Ales. The first bite is kinda rough, but it gets smooth after that. You're lucky I saved you the Abbey. That's one of my favorite beers in the world.
