for an easter basket? My 18 year old told me yesterday as I was buying candy that he didn't need one anymore........:deevee: So I am left with just buying for the 14 and 3 year old. But I am wondering how old you all think is to old. I know if someone gave me an Easter basket I would not say no.........ROFL

So you gave a 17 year old an easter basket?

I stopped getting those when I was probably 12. Easter baskets are supposed to be for kids. Little kids. You can still get candy, but the point of the basket with the grass set out on Easter morning, was for little kids. Or so I thought.

I'm 41, and I love finding a member of PETA and biting the head off a chocolate bunny right in front of 'em.

The real ones are too fluffy for that kind of spontanaeity.

My parents still host egg hunts for their grown children. I found 34 out of 174 eggs last Sunday. My closest sibling only found 20.

Yes I would........I am bad about that stuff. I have extra little ones made up in case my sons friends come over...which they always do and I give them one. They seem to really like it......So where do I send your basket, or are you coming to pick it up?:p

An 18 year old boy? You are lucky he still talks to you. Don't worry, though. If you have done your parenting job well he will enjoy the silly stuff again in a few years.

well I guess that would depend on the age of the person asking the question, but I made the trip from TN to Al yesterday and I could barely walk when I got out of the car, so from my view point I at 40 must be OLD.

P.S I'd like my name back now please.

Never too old for the candy, but a basket? 13 should be the established break-off age for baskets...

I guess "Too Old" would depend upon what's in the basket. I would imagine that if your son got a basket with a set of keys to a new car in it, he'd agree with you and say he's not too old yet.

I knew it....so this am we get up and Austin goes looking for his basket and toys the bunny left him. My 14 year old isin't stupid.....he had no problem receiving a basket full of candy from the bunny. So my oldest one Josh is standing there looking around..what you looking for honey I say......he says nothing and goes in his room. So then I sent him to the garage to get my turkey pan....and there he found his basket full of candy.

So it's offical.....you are never to old for an easter basket from mommy.......
