No more old geezer corners!! (McCleon, Dishman, Crockett)

Nevertheless, he is better than Bartee, even at age 34.

Why not? He might teach Bartee a little something about using his hands......

We should have had him 3 years ago.

Nickel back now, nothing more.

LOL sounds just like Carl's style. Pass up an all pro CB who you can get for a song (2nd rounder) to pick up a washed up 34 year old that was only average in his prime.

Enjoy it now, because it won't happen.

Ambrose used to be a solid player, but that's was several seasons ago. He will NOT help us.

He'll be 35 when the season starts. He was moderate when he was young, he's washed up now. The line between desperation and stupidity is not that thin.

This guy is a nickle safety, at best. His best corner days are back in Cincinati.

Here's the deal folks, we have to stop looking at everybody in terms of, "he's better than Bartee!" Of course he is...but who isn't? That's not the measuring stick for getting better. Bartee is the worst CB in the history of organized football, so we should aspire for more!

bricks, I'm willing to entertain other names, but after a couple of years of thought, I can't think of a worse CB than William Bartee. I don't think there COULD be a worse CB. He does nothing well, and no instincts for the position at all. He plays the position like a newborn colt on ice skates!

Not really. He's going into his sixth season as an NFL corner, and has yet to grab even ONE trash interception (hell, Bennie Sapp got one last year, and he was undrafted!). Balance that little gem against how many TD's the guy has given up and it = Bad Corner. Arguably one of the worst ever.

I'm sure Bartee is up there as being one of the worst. There are a heck of a lot up there with him too. But, too say he is the absolute worst? I think is a little over-exaggeration. don't get me wrong, he sucks.

The fact that we even have to talk about one of our corners possibly being the worst ever makes me want to wretch.

He's got a girl's name. That should eliminate him from consideration right there.
