$2.25 this morning in Belton. I got lucky and filled my truck last night. Our Hy-Vee has a gas station and you get a discount on gas if you buy groceries...even if it's a pack of gum. The discount varies per day. Also they give additional discounts if you buy certain items. So last night I saved $.09 per gallon for a total of $2.05/gal.

Last week on April fools day they were giving a discount of $.20/gallon.

$2.41 for premium.

Ouch.Yep, might as well, it is only 10% higher than regular now. It was 20% higher when gass was only 1.00 per gallon, lmao.

Premium is as high as 2.75 here in N. Cal.

:shake:

The only thing that makes it better is that I own some Valero stock for my retirement.

It is up almost 10 points in the past 2 weeks. :)

Where in Larryville are you paying that much? Do you intentionally go out to find the most expensive gas in town? $2.27 is the most I've seen for regular unleaded gas in Lawrence, and I filled up two cars today.

The one good thing about higher gas prices is that it operates as an idiot tax.

I was gettin ready to make this thread myself today after I filled my tank at the whopping price of $2.51 for the cheapest unleaded gas I could find in the greater Seattle metro area. F*ckin went up 12 cents a gallon in the last 3 days. Jewish.

$2.97 for #2 Diesel....Cost me $74.00 to fill up the ole' DURAMAX today.. :shake: Funny thing is, even though gas prices have skyrocketed, my ATM still only allows $50.00 purchases at a time so I end up pissing off the people behind me when I have to double slide the ATM to fill the behemoth....

Thought about trading the beast in for a GEO but, it would look kinda funny pulling the fifth wheel..... :p

I've started filling up when I get down to about half a tank. Gives me the illusion of not getting ASSRAPED.

I'm driving to Grand Junction, Colorado on vacation next month. It's about a 2,400 mile round trip, and adding 600 additional mad miles makes for an even 3,000. Factoring in an average mileage of 20 on the car I'll rent (a premium V6), and $3.00 a gallon gas, that'll make the cost of gas alone $450.

Still cheaper than airline tickets, though. And I'll get the car for next to nothing because I can redeem AMEX points to pick up almost all of it. And the car will probably do a bit better than that mileage wise, and hopefully gas won't have reached $3.00 a gallon by the second week of May.

But still.... damn. :shake:
