I must be stupid!
Why else would I leave a nice warm house and drive 4 hours thru near blizzard conditions?
Oh yeah! To see my beloved Chiefs beat the snot out of the Donks!

Godspeed, frozen traveller.
~~Posting like a fiend . . . perhaps something to do with the DayQuil. http://www.chiefsplanet.com/ubb/eek.gif

I must be stupid also, because I wish I was leaving the warmth and comfort of my home in order to watch an A$$ stomping in the cold along with you.
envious of the man out in the cold

Talk about dedication!!!!
Over the river and thru the woods,
to Arrowhead I'll go.
My car knows the way, to carry the keg,
through the sleet and blowing snow!!!!
I'll be there, too. Happily, the roads weren't as bad as I thought they would be.
It is colder than my ex-wife's heart out there, though. AND THAT'S COLD! :D

It is good to see such dedicated fans, especially during this time when some fans want our team to not only lose, but, lose to the donx tomorrow. What I would give to be there tomorrow!

Geez, what I wouldn't give to just see a game at Arrowhead. Especially since is the last time the fans will probably see Grunhard,Shields and Hasty at home..
Hey Lompoc brave,or Milkman, did you ever get Directv like I told you to?
12-16-2000, 10:24 PM
I just checked the seating chart - my front row seats are on the Denver sideline. So much for autographs, but now I wonder....
Energizer or Duracell? :D Oh wait, the Donx deserve the very least. I'll get Ray-O-Vacs.
DEATH TO DENVER!

Man I wish I could be with you Shakes. I did get the chance to see the game earlier this year at Pile High. But I would have gladly driven 9hrs to be at Arrowhead today. No Chiefs game is too far away!!! Kick some Bootie today!!
sorry I didn't get to hook up...the d@mn limo was 11/2hrs late...we didn't get to arrowhead until 1145....our seats were about as bad as you could get...sec305...second to the top row....the "tourbitch" wouldn't let us move down....grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr...I was drunk enough to not care alot...i had a denver fan on each side of me....Let em have it the whole game....

Glad to hear you made it in time Iowa! You were right next to me! I was in 302 with sis, freezin' our butts off! Had a whole row of donx fans behind me. They kept sayin' "PLAYOFFS", and I kept sayin' "FOUR IN A ROW!" It was fun. How 'bout that halftime spectacular?
I was a little more tantilized by the timeout dance with the blue belly shirts...ahhhhyeahhhhh...thank god for the bushnell's... :)
I felt no pain yesterday....
12-18-2000, 09:50 AM
IA, I know the dance of which you speak. B-nocs are a must!! Even the donx fans wanted to see!
I LOVE BELLY BUTTONS!!!
Damn fellas! We were so close to each other it was scary. I was in 306, row 33.
I'm sure we were yelling at the same Donk fans.
I'd like to thank the off-duty members of the KCPD for letting us warm up in there tent before the game.
I also have to admit, that Donkfan was very well mannered.
No sweat Iowanian, we'll try again next year.
As good a time as it was, It saddened me to see Arrowhead half-full. Sure it was a little chilly out, but come folks. Last game of the year, Denver. What do you want?
To those of you that COULD have gone and didn't, I vigourously shake my index finger at you!
On a posative note, Christmas comes Tuesday for the "cat". Big screen bliss.
I think I was in 33 also...I'll bet I did see you...you were probably behind the bronco yahoos with the horsehead helmet...I heckled those guys all day...
I was with the dancing screaming yahoos at the top...we had 3 gals rump shaking in the seats....drew quite a bit of attention to ourselves....if you looked to the right or heard wild screaming at odd times...it was us!!!
I almost called you during the game but didn't for some reason....we could have sat together..plenty to choose from...
12-18-2000, 10:32 AM
I hate it when I miss rump shakin!
I remember the guy with the horse face, err, hat.
I had to laugh at the female(?) Donkfan fan who sat next to me in a half filled stadium and asked me to move over, because I was in her seat. I just looked up and said "I don't think it matters today".
I went absolutely nuts when Jarious Jackson came in...I wanted to see him flat...to further prove the point about "the broncos being twice the team..blah blah blah..."
after that dropped punt, I wanted KL fired!!
12-18-2000, 10:36 AM
I saw those Donk-hat wearing dorks! (I sat in 102, row 8, seat 2) I gave that orange-afro wearing dolt a hard time throughout the game. That guy had some balls! To come into Arrowhead & run his mouth like that...
It was a good thing there were security guards right by him; a big group of red-clad fans were taking his obnoxious behaviour a bit too seriously.
we had a donk fan with us...he talked trash the whole way down...no one smacked him as bad as we did...fans deviled him, but were very civil in general...but he wasn't as obnoxious as some....I thought about snowball pelting those "in-com-plete" guys..
"donkeys suck, donkeys suck"...what an awesome chant...
12-18-2000, 10:45 AM
I gave Romo, Frerotte, Nalen and a few others the big forehead
L
every time they looked up into the stands. (which they did every time the 'Denver Sucks!' chant went up) http://www.chiefsplanet.com/ubb/wink.gif
12-18-2000, 10:46 AM
Shakes, would you expect anything else from a donk fan? So anal.
I'm w/IA on the no shows. C'mon people it IS December. IT'S FOOTBALL WEATHER!! It was very cold, but not unbearable(almost). I warmed up quickly when TRich scampered around left end to 'da promised land! I luv it when TRich takes it to the house from 30 yds out!!
12-18-2000, 10:49 AM
I felt sorry for those kids at halftime!!! WTF was up with that?! Their teacher(s) should have had the common sense to bundle them up. 9° with the wind chill in the negatives - and they're scampering around in tights. (Cheerleaders on the other hand... damn, they were working those tight 'Santa' dresses!!) http://www.chiefsplanet.com/ubb/biggrin.gif
12-18-2000, 10:50 AM
HC, I saw the dude with the fro too! They were doing a mock tommahawk chop chant when they were leaving, so I went up to them and yelled: "Four in a row!" Donx are NOT better than the Chiefs! Whiny azz beeatchez!!
12-18-2000, 10:58 AM
It's too bad the parents of those little dancers didn't have as much common sense as the parents who left their kids at home.
I didn't know the Ramsey's had so many relatives in KC.
12-18-2000, 02:22 PM
Dang, I just got the Ramsey reference!
still thawing out his brain...
