I had to work today, but fortunately, much of my time is spent picking orders standing outside the back of my truck, so when the weather is nice, as it was in central California today, I still get to enjoy it.

Today was great, too.

Went up to the car museum at Volo - drooled over all manner of antique, classic muscle and movie/TV cars. Drove all over the place, including an empty country road where I learned that my car will hit 100 mph in about 10 seconds. :D The weather was beautiful as well - mid 70's with a nice breeze, and early enough in the season that my grill and windshield didn't become a complete bug mausoleum.

All in all, a great weekend! :thumb:

Took a walk w/ my neighbor and his stripper ladyfriend to a bar down the road a piece for brunch. Which for me consisted of some fried calimari and a couple of screwdrivers. Course, now that I think about it... I'm pretty sure it was like one or something. I don't think that qualifies as brunch still.

Then we went to Ikea and I dropped $700 on a leather sofa.

Whoa... just noticed this thread was from yesterday.

Yesterday was a bit more involved. I was supposed to go to a Jeopardy tryout at 9am. But, I got really drunk Friday night, so I overslept. Eh, f*ck it. Then I went to a furniture store and bought me a nice black leather recliner. Then I got showered up because my neighbor was having a bbq/birthday party for the wife of a buddy of his. So, I started into serious drinking about 1pm. We drank at the condo complex for godknowshowlong. At some point I took another shower and threw on some nice clothes so I would be ready to head to any bar in Scottsdale. It got to be like a f*cking college party at one point. My neighbor's place was packed w/ people, and we didn't know most of them. Some of them we didn't even know the people they claimed to know that had invited them (sort out that pronoun abuse). Eventually we made it to the bar. Mostly because I stood in the middle of the living room and shouted, "HEY EVERYBODY. WE'RE GOING TO THE BAR NOW! YOU HAVE 30 MINUTES TO CLEAR OUT OF HERE. YOU'VE GOT TWENTY UNTIL I GET OUT A GUN." We drank at Bar 74 awhile. I fondled my female neighbor a lot. Apparently she eventually got kicked out for being too drunk. I, being rather intoxicated myself, missed this event. Of course, it may have happened after I bailed w/ the other fellas to head to the titty bar. At one point at the titty bar I was falling asleep, so my male neighbor (the one who was hosting the party earlier) paid a stripper to slap me. Eventually the bar closed, we came home, and I woke up on my living room floor this morning. Apparently, that's the preferred sleeping spot for me when I've been drinking for 13 hrs or so.
