Good News: Ump has a postage-stamp strike zone for both teams, requireing both pitchers to groove em down the middle.

I wouldn't mind wanting to see Sisco.

Long with a basehit! And gets a double becuase of fan interference.

Now the pitching coach, interm manager (for the day) and the trainer is out to Affeldt. Apparently Affeldt is arguing aganist the pitching coach saying that he's fine, but it appears that the pitching coach disagree.

Mac is coming in.

I haven't been able to see him pitch. I wouldn't have a problem if he took a little off the fastball to get some more movement on it, but that doesn't sound like it's the case.

They said on the radio that his groin was bothering him from when he tweaked it a bit ago.

Whew... nice win... probably needed that one. Hopefully Anderson and Runelvys can bring it the next two days and we can do a number on these guys. Besides Lima actually pitching like a pitcher, the best sign is that our hitters didn't lay down and die and came up with some clutch hits.

Wooohooo!!

Maybe Lima is done sucking for a while now.

He had a good stretch against the Angels last week also. He looks like he has the potential to have a strong year.

Terrence Long is another guy that is going to do a lot for this team but who is getting unfairly criticized.

Long was a starter on some good A's team, he advanced runners twice tonight in situational hitting, and he looks good at the plate in the games that I have seen.

What is the deal with Affeldt, he looked so pissed coming out, im glad they took him out, he isn't 100% his fastball wasn't as good and his curve was going no where. What a win, i didn't expect this after a 5-0 deficit after 1.

I think we've got the pieces to be decent. We just have to find some consistency.

just got back from the game...

Great comeback for us...

Long is awesome on defense with those dives he does..

Affedlt, didnt have shit after the first batter... His fastball was flat and slow.. about 84mph...and a curve that didnt break... Glad he was taken out...

I called bErroa's shot to my friends before the swing...luckily it turned out well...

Well, I just returned home from a night out and was perusing the news and discovered that the Royals rose from the ashes tonight. I left just after Lima was shelled and it was 5-0 Tigers. Gotta admit I'm suprised they were able to come back and pull out a win. And then Lima settles down to pitch a helluva game to boot. Who'd a thunk it? :hmmm: Maybe their about to embark on a hot streak now. That'd be nice. :thumb:

Long is underrated. He's a good solid player on both sides.

Affedlt was shitty on the mound, only throwing 90 on the gun and couldn't even throw a breaking ball very well. I think he's damaged goods.

By the way, was the homeplate umpire shit or what? :shake:
