Is there any members from this board whom may be interested in attending the San Diego Game at San Diego on October 30, 2005. If so i am trying to get a group of fans together who are willing to travel to San Diego, to go to the game.

A Hilton in Mission Valley which is a good location has a rate of 98.00 per night for a room with 2 beds. www.hilton.com, or http://www.hilton.com/en/hi/hotels/index.jhtml;jsessionid=TE0I4DMS5ZJPCCSGBIX222QKIYFCXUUC?ctyhocn=SANMVHF

The 98.00 rate won't last for long.

You need to learn how to spell San Diego first.

It's a nice hotel..see if you can get the bounce back rate and you'll get a free breakfast every day of your stay.

From there you are 10 minutes to the stadium. Make sure you eat at King's Fish Company.

That's a nice enough hotel, but it's 15 miles inland.

There's a good Marriott on the Bay, or try Pacific Beach or La Jolla (pricey).

And don't worry--there are always at least 5,000-10,000 Chiefs fans at Qualcomm.

i appreciate the spelling error notification, LOL! hell the keyboard sticks sometimes due the kids spilling things on the keyboard. But any way i hope there are more members who may be interested in the Road trip. Any other suggestions on where to eat or stay or even do would be much appreciated for those members who have traveled to the SD country.

I was just kidding about the spelling. I make a keyboard error the other day and someone got sh*ty about my spelling.

I will let you know when single game tickets go on sale. The game will sell out a lot faster this year because of all the new bandwagoning fans. It will be interesting to see how many season tickets they sell this year.

I hope I didn't make any spelling errors. My spelling sucks bigtime.

You know how to spell "make" correctly, but do you know how to spell made?

Uh-huh... that's why it sticks.

I haven't made any decisions about the San Diego game yet. I've gone the past two years, so there's a decent possibility I'll go this year. Last year jAZ and I bandied about the idea of a 'zonie road trip (if you can really call a five hour drive a road trip) that never materialized... if that happens this year, I might be up for it. Else, I suspect I'd just drop the $100 on a round trip flight on Southwest.

Gosh. I'm not used to planning this far in advance. Two years ago when I went I think I decided to go the week of.

Let me sleep on it... I suppose if I buy a ticket w/ your package and end up not being able to go for some reason I'd probably be able to sell it to someone else.

well the only reason i threw this out there is the tickets are cheap, you can take your chances, with the tickets and the prices, but if you wish to have a great time with a bunch of CHIEFS fans then why not splurge on the ticket, then you can make arrangements on travel later....this way we will have a huge CHIEFS section..LOL to watch our playoff Bound offense/defense go all the way this year!
