This trade rumor doesn't make any sense to me. Philip Buchanon and the #38 overall to Washington for their #9? Redskins really can't get a better deal then that? If the Redskins are considering this deal, why can't we package the #15 pick and a player for their #9? DJ would almost definately still be there at 9. What do you guys think? Is Carl even considering something like this?

I really don't think we would have to give up anyone big, we would already be giving them our #15 pick. I just find it hard to believe that we couldn't trump Oakland's offer of a 2nd rounder and Buchanon. Buchanon is an average CB and hasn't played well the last year or two. The #15 and Bartee, Battle, whoever, it would be a great deal if we ended up with DJ.

If that fails, let's give Oakland Bartee and the #15 for their #38.

why can't we package the #15 pick and a player for their #9?
because we would have to have a caliber player to trade

what good player do with have that washington would want and whom we could do without?

when talent evaluation is your problem, your options are limited.

Here's what the Skins have to say about the Posts report...

Sounds like they're not actively searching for a trade, but wouldnt pass one up for the right price.

Remember the feud between the Skins and the Post? Also, we should keep in mind that nothing said this week has any validity. More smoke than off of Phils new smoker. ROFL
