Why haven't they made any yet?

How about these:

Call up Harvey and send down Pickering - play Harv at 1B and Sweeney at DH. He's an upgrade on Defense and certainly no worse at the bat than Pickering.

Call up Aaron Guiel. Give him another chance. Send Emil Brown down.

Play Terrence Long more than Matt Stairs. Stairs should be very valuable pinch hitting in the late innings when we need a long ball. Long's been pretty decent with the bat.

We have very little offensive production and way too many platoons and tinkering going on.

I agree about calling Harvey.

I disagree about sending Brown down.

I agree with playing Long more.

I would also like to see a consistent lineup. Every game is something different.

I also want to see the Royals work the count more. They seem to always be swinging away. Opposing pitchers are at 40 pitches in the 6th inning for goodness sake! A couple years ago Baird and Pena were always talking about patience at the plate and going deep into counts. What happened?

Last night I remembered: The Royals outfield used to be Damon, Beltran, Dye. I almost cried.

Why, oh why, did you have to bring that up :deevee:

Oh well, we're kicking ass right now with Brown, DeJesus and Matt Long;)
