ESPN's John Clayton has just reported that Kevin Johnson has signed a one yr deal with the Detroit Lions. I saw this on ESPN's NFL Draft Special thats on TV right now.

I think that with our 2nd round pick, granted that Surtain is traded to us for a 4th rounder, we should draft Jerome Mathis, a D1-AA WR that is a stud and has a blazing 4.2 40yd dash and has some size to him.

I wouldn't complain about that at the right price, but I still think we need to get a younger stud receiver for the future at some point.

Yeah, but Charles Rodgers must only have, like, 1/4 of a collarbone at this point. Seriously, breaking it two years in a row has to suck.
