Here's who they have the Chiefs picking.

1. Carlos Rogers CB
2. Daryl Blackstock OLB
3. Courtney Roby WR, IND
4. Vincent Fuller DS
5a. Bill Swancutt DE
5b. Ryan Fitzpatrick QB, Harvard
6a. Daniel Loper OT, TX
6b. Doug Nienhuis OT, OR
7a. Tim Bulman DT, BC
7b. Matt Grootegoed DS/OLB, USC

Pretty solid IMO and I could live with it if it happened that way. The first two picks speak for themselves but I think Swancutt and Fitz in the 5th round would be cool as well Grootegoed in the 7th.

I definitely wouldn't be too bothered by this. Would like to see the Surtain trade in there, but this wouldn't upset me at all.

They have us taking Blackstock at 46 and Burnett going at 47. I would rather have Burnett then Blackstock. Blackstock seems like a 3-4 OLB/rushbacker type to me.

I think that would please a majority of us planet members.

If KC fails to pick Matt Jones (EP, Arkansas) this draft is a complete failure.

I don't think Blackstock gets to us in round 2, but if he does, I bet we take him.

I also don't see Swancutt lasting until round 5. And even if he does, I'm not sure the Chiefs would take him.

The one thing that is missing from this mock is the late round guys that could help on ST. KC is in dire need of ST help, and all those linemen aren't going to be much help. I expect at least one more skill position guy, like a CB or WR late in the second day.

I also wouldn't be suprised if we took a punter.

Wow, two Beavers; that would be cool! :thumb:

I'm surprised they have Grootegoed so low. The guy was just flat out a playmaker and tackling machine. I guess his size is holding him back, but I think he could end up being a Sam Mills type player.

Safety, I think.

Also, wanted to add that, while I would rather have Derek Anderson for QBOTF, I was pretty impressed with Fitzpatrick in the all-star games that I watched. He seemed a lot like Green, average arm with good accuracy.

A QB from Harvard? Never heard of him or know nothing about him.

I would be happy with that draft overall.

A Defensive lineman/ Safety tweener. A position that GRob introduced to the NFL.

Matt Jones is gonna bust. If the chiefs dont take him I'll thank the heavens.

The Chiefs could use a guy like Ryan Claridge a LB from UNLV. Could develop into a starter, but should be a special teams ace like Manusky was.

If we could sneak in Stephan Lefors and that punter from Tennesse, I would be thrilled.

Don't tell GoChiefs about it. He hasn't seen a beaver since delivery.

SI.com is projecting Roby to go mid-second.

Oddly enough, they are projecting the guy (Brandon Jones) Bob Dole has been pimping for 4 years to go mid-third.

It's only two games through preseason, Bob, but your guy is off to a good start. 10th in receiving yards in the AFC and missed his first NFL TD by about a foot last Friday.

If Bob Dole is going to refer to Bob Dole in the third person, it's not really much of a stretch for Bob Dole to converse with Bob Dole.

Is it?

Boy this site didn't get any of our picks right. Were there any draft pundits that correctly predicted some/any of our picks?

Only the ones that went out on a limb and saw DJ falling all the way to 15th. The Colquitt 3rd round pick might have been predictable, though.
