No problems today

I get this pop-up message:

"www.chiefscoalition.com could not be found. Please check the name and try again."

Maybe it's a Firefox problem. I'm gonna try Explorer next.

I visit both sites on a regular basis as does a lot of posters here. They are good people over there on the "other" Chiefs site. Both boards admins and mods get along fine and support both boards charities. It's a win/win for both boards.

You might try clearing your browser cache (including offline) and cookies, then try again.

chiefscoalition uses a lot of flash, I know I get an error on the initial flash intro load but it still seems to work fine.

Thanks chiefz. I did clear my cache and still have the same problem. Unless I didn't do all that you are suggesting properly. I'll try again.

On second glance of your intial problem its sounds like either you cannot reslove the IP or reach the IP of the chiefscoalition.com server.

You might try going to a DOS prompt: Start > Run > command (95/98), cmd (2000/XP)

Then type "ping chiefscoalition.com"

Post the results of the ping here.

Might just be a routing issue in the area you are in or with your providor.

The route to the IP was probably temporarily blackholed due to routing problems with your providor.
