I think Carl's jobs are the problem. Not just what he does, but the whole scope of it. People have talked about how tough it is to be a Head Coach/General Manager, but I think it is ridiculous to have one person try to handle to duties of President/CEO/AND General Manager. It's been discussed ad nauseum about how Carl would make a fantastic President/CEO, and have a true football man take over as General Manager. Aren't the jobs contradictory? One guy is trying to manage finance for the organization, and one guy is trying to improve the team. I would love to know the ins and outs about Carl's contract, specifically the bonuses he receives for parking fees, concessions, whatever. It might shed a little insight on why he does and says some of the things he does.
