What gets me is how the Broncos said the took a chance with a draft pick that wasn't worth much. They already gave up their first, and did not have another pick after Clarrett until the 6th round. They got almost nothing in this draft except some speedy CBs who have not learned the finer parts of the position and have shown shaky cover skills.

We drafted a punter. Not a whole lot of difference, is there?

Clayton would have a point if we had and draft positions of absolute need... No in this talent pool is going to come in and start in their first year period, so being criticized for not drafting someone like that is like being criticized for not drafting any jackalopes.

Actually, the kicker Denver drafted is a punter. And remember they have Jason Baker as their punter.

No, it's being credited for drafting reaches, projects, and question marks with your entire draft when the rest of the divison has improved on thier weaknesses.

I think he ran a 4.60 at his personal workout. Not blazing fast by any means, but I wouldn't call it "horrible."
