QUOTE TO NOTE: "I can't guarantee everybody that I'm going to be a Pro Bowler or even be that great a player, but I know I'll be a 250-pound crazy country white boy running down the field on kickoffs." Boomer Grigsby, the self-styled country boy from Illinois State selected by the Chiefs in the fourth round.

If his play is half as good as his quotes, he'll be a nice addition to the team. He has a lot of good ones.

My favorite is this one:
Q: Did you have dreams of playing for the Illini growing up, that close to Normal [Illinois]?

GRIGSBY: “No. I really didn’t grow up as a big fan of Illinois. But Illinois State put some belief in me and I got a chance to play the Illini. I gave them 20 tackles-worth of not picking me out of high school.”

Sam Mills was too small to play in the NFL too.

Mills spent nine NFL seasons with the Saints, then joined the expansion Panthers. He finished his career with 1,319 tackles and started in 173 of 181 games

Not how I meant it, it's how you took it.

It was meant more like in crazy man, Mad Mike ( Maz ) on ST's a few years ago.
