I thought Snoop was awesome in college, and had good speed. Chiefs personell said that he didnt fit the scheme, that being said, how didnt he fit it? He couldve developed into a good WR and chances are we wouldnt be fussing about Johnnie Morton like we are now. I know that Snoop was hurt, but why didnt we allow some time for him to get 100%?

I seem to remember he had a nagging injury, which ended up getting him cut by the Chiefs and at least another team or two (Tampa Bay was one).

Morton is out after June 1st if he does not redo his deal...

We have an OK WR core which is all we need, (that is all we have had for the last 3-4 years)

Looks like in hindsight Snoop was a pretty dumb draft pick.

Too small, couldnt handle the rigors of the NFL.

Because he couldn't learn to run the right route on a consistant basis.

Top 4 Reasons;

1. Slow - The kid was not fast for his size.
2. Skinny - Was hurt everytime he was popped due to his frame.
3. Dumb - Couldn't ever get the playbook down and consistently ran the wrong routes.
4. Oft injured - See #2.

His long neck reminded too many people of Harvey Williams.

I remember Vermiel stating often that the reason he wasn't dressing for games was because he couldn't/wouldn't play special teams. If you're not a starter, you have to play special teams.

He did provide one great highlight though. Ill never forget that leaping bomb he caught for a TD in the opening game of the season against the Raiders back in 2001.

If that was true he'd be a player in the NFL now. He isn't. Nough said.

That was his only highlight.

Snoop was slow and small. And in the NFL you've got to at least be big if you're slow or fast if you're small to make it. The recievers on my high school team had more impressive physiques.

He was low maintenance though. We could just fax him to away games.
