Sauerbrun Could Become a Bronco --
Sun May 1, 2005 --from FFMastermind.com

The Gaston Gazette reports the Carolina Panthers are close to reaching a deal that would send three-time Pro Bowl P Todd Sauerbrun to the Denver Broncos, two league sources confirmed Saturday. However, sources said there remain a few details to be worked out and it could take a couple of weeks before a deal is officially consummated. Itís unclear exactly what the Panthers would get in return for Sauerbrun, but itís not likely to be anything higher than a fourth-round draft choice.

The only team in the NFL where cheating is legal....a match made in heaven.

I can't believe I am saying this about a punter, but Sauerbrun is a locker room cancer. He has made enemies around the league.

He should give Jason Baker some stiff competition. ROFL

Shanahan has officially lost his mind. I need to see the TJ spin on this one.

Shanahan has officially lost his mind. I need to see the TJ spin on this one. Here it is:

Not a very sexy signing, but well-needed. We give away a 4th round draft pick for arguably the best punter in the game, whereas the Chiefs gave away a 3rd rounder for an unproven rookie punter.

That shit about Sauerbrun being a cancer is all shit. The other guys start it. Todd will be in a good mile-high environment, and a different conference. He won't run into trouble.

Plummer now has all the tools he needs. Offensive weapons and now field position. No way he screws up now.

Here it is:

I think everyone in hear could make and argument that Shane Lechler is the best punter in the league.

Good. Sauerboom is the most overrated punter in the NFL.

they may trade for a replacement of Sharpe's mouth

Bill Williamson (http://www.kffl.com/link/3), of the Denver Post (http://www.kffl.com/link/184), reports the Denver Broncos (http://www.kffl.com/team/15/nfl) could have an interest in Philadelphia Eagles (http://www.kffl.com/team/29/nfl) WR Freddie Mitchell (http://www.kffl.com/player/1494/nfl). As reported earlier, the Eagles (http://www.kffl.com/team/29/nfl) are trying to trade Mitchell.

Nah... The Bronks aren't doomed. Sauerbrat maybe once he turns a deaf ear to the ST's coach. And he will. I couldn't understand why we dumped him after one season here in KC. But then I found out he wouldn't listen to the coaches and punted the ball however he saw fit. He won't go for the sidelines or the coffin. He thinks distance above all is what matters. So when Dante fields a ball and looks up and sees nothing but 20 yrds of separation between him and the Bronco ST's don't start moaning about it.

Sauerbrun the best punter in the game? I don't think so. He can kick it far, but his hang times are average. I can't wait to see him outkick his coverage.
