So far after 5 games, you would almost have to give the edge to Rich Scanlon.
So far he has had 47 tackles,35 solo,12 assited, 2 pass deflected, 1 INT for a 49 yard return and 1 ST tackle ( which is from limited play )

DEFENSE
SPEC SPEC MISC MISC BLOCKED KICKS
Player TT UT AT SACK PD FF UT AT TACK AT P FG PAT
Scanlon, R (KC) 47 35 12 0.0 2 0 1 0 0 0 0 0 0

The next closest player in tackles is Scott Connet.....

DEFENSE
SPEC SPEC MISC MISC BLOCKED KICKS
Player TT UT AT SACK PD FF UT AT TACK AT P FG PAT
Connot, S (KC) 32 28 4 0.0 4 0 3 2 0 0 0 0 0

Imagine, 2 Chiefs leading the way towards a Defensive MVP.

Just a little info for the many members who claimed he is horrible.

Again, he has a nose for the ball, wherever the ball goes, so does Rich, quick enough to record tackles. The kid has game. :p

Well then, I guess Scanlon's earned that coveted #7 LB position on the Chiefs' depth chart this year...

i like scanlon, roy, really i do...

but unless he can move outside, i don't think he has much of a chance to make the 53 man roster (in fact, i offered you a bet about that, iirc - did you take me up on it?)...

grigsby, being drafted and all, would probably get the nod over rich...

in fact, looking at his college production and combine numbers, grigsby looks like he could be a force in the middle...

production, speed, and 250?

that's hard to beat...

Gun wants a D like he had as Marty's DC. Bell and Grigsby are naturals for the Anthony Davis role. I don't think Bell or Grigsby
will have time to learn two new positions in training camp. Scanlon's NFLE play shows he has the potential to back up Mitchell, Gun's starter at MLB.

Bet ? What bet, please inform me. I have 1 bet now with TRR about being on the roster.

BTW, With Grigsby's speed, he can play the outside and I have a very good hunch Gun will use him there.

Last year CP said that Rich had a definate picture with the Chiefs as a MLB. What's that's worth now is probally zilch althought the good showing in NFLE is a step in the right direction.

I have said this all along to start with. I see Caver being odd man out if Grigsby is moved on the outside, as I suspect.

The real $ 64,000.00 question is Barber.
1)Will he be healthy enough to start the season or go to PUP ?
2).If it is PUP, what happens after week 6 ?

Time will tell.

He has more solo tackles than any other player has in combined tackles.

it was on the same thread that you made your bet with trr on...

i said that if rich makes the 53 man roster (unless it's due to injuries), i'll put the same line in my sig as trr does...

and i'd said you'd have to remind me if you won...

and here i've got to remind you...

hmmmmm... who's the old geezer here?

Yes, I'm getting old and have alot on my mind anymore.

Bet is on, I'll take it. He will be on that 53 man roster. He can play MLB, ST's both ways and even snap punts or kicks. He has done that before too.

Me thinks that too many members here have underestimated
his talents. :)
