Daniel Snyder should stop dealing with two groups ... the Broncos and Drew Rosenhaus, b/c they rob him blind!

The Skins just gave Moss a new 6 year - $31M contract with an $11M bonus...

Unreal money for a receiver with 6 100 yard games in 2 years... he sucked in 2004.

Next year at this time Rosenhaus will probably demand the Redskins rip up this contract and give him a bigger contract

You know Rosenpenis is in Green Bay right now, saying "Look at what Moss got from the Redskins! Are you telling me Javon Walker isn't worth a 13.5 million dollar signing bonus?"

Rosenhaus is slime, and Dan Snyder is a dumb****.

Yep, he set the bar with Moss and well ... how can Walker, Boldin and even Owens get less. I hate all of this.

The bar just got raised big-time for average WR's. Santana has 2400 yds in 4 seasons.

Hell, Kennison has 1,900 yards and 13 TDs (compared to Moss 1,900 and 15 TDs) over the last 2 seasons...

Kennison should call Rosenhaus now!

Moss better back his shit up and be a consistent threat which he hasnt been.

Moss is going to need some help to back up that contract... more than Portis. There is little proven "consistent" production on that offense.

And, that's fine with me... I hope they get a top 5 pick next year.

MLB must love Rosenhaus. He's singlehandedly ruining the NFL.

I really thought the Redskins would turn it around under Gibbs, who I deemed brilliant.

Whoever is running their front office, however, is unbelievablly stupid. Santana Moss is NOT an exceptional WR. He's fast, but inconsistent as hell and his route running is mediocre.

Seriously, Bud Selig should hire that clown.

Exactly. Never have agents exploited a game and it's fans more than modern day football.

He's an good return man, not quite sure he's worth that much as a WR though. On the other hand, Marvin Harrison got what, a $22 million bonus?... I guess you could say Moss is half the WR Harrison is.

Santana Moss is pretty good receiver, I think he is just starting to reach his potential. For some players it takes about a year or 2. Gotta remember that one year Moss has a knee injury and he was hurt pretty much all of last season right ?

But when he aint hurt look at what he does, May be a little too much for a receiver that has been hurt but yet he's still a pretty good WR.

Snyder loves to toss money at an issue like Steinbrenner. Now all clubs are going to have to start trying to pay their contracts according to what the Redskins set, just like they do against the Yankees in baseball. The cap isn't an issue. With all the money Snyder throws around, there's no such thing.

Well, they paid the vastly overrated Coles so why not let the vastly overrated Mini-Moss have a turn too?

The heart of any offense is the OL and then the QB...any weakness in one can be covered for by the strength of the other...after that its RB.....WRs are the last piece.

I'd love to have an upgrade at WR in KC, but the reality is we've scored ass loads of points on everybody...I'd much rather give a LT an $11 mill bonus than a WR.

That's why I think Detroit was crazy to draft another WR. You don't need two great WRs. Just look at the Rams with Bruce and Holt and a shitty OL.

If Moss were the final piece ala Owens..ok, but he's not.

He did nothing as a rookie, little his 2nd year.

Moss exploded in 2003 and then really kinda blah last season. 5th year veteran only having topped 45 receptions once... 1,000 yards once ... only two 100+ yd games last season...

He's not proven that he's worth that kinda money.

He's had one good year. He's a pedestrian receiver at best.

If you want to make the Hackett argument, make it. Gibbs isn't going to make Moss a more prolific WR.
