Issac Bruce would be the best fit for KC's offense short of Marvin Harrison. I do not see Moulds as a good fit at all.

Jerry Rice was also released by the seahawks.

He's a shadow of his former self but he's still LIGHT YEARS better than Salt-boy...

Bruce would be a good fit...but I think both are much more talented than what we have at WR(duh). I would be happy if we signed either one.

Doesn't Moulds have a history of injury problems. I am not sure of this but it is what I recall based on others who have had him on their fantasy football teams.

Yes that is not a bad history at all only missing 5 starts in 6 years.

Those figures are last years correct? As far as I know Moulds contract number drops into the 4's this year and back up into the 6's next year he's much more likely to be released next year.

I don't see anyway Eric Moulds is cut this year.

He seems to put up solid numbers each year too. But, I just checked their cap situation...they are 4 mil under the cap. They've got plenty of room. Moulds will be a Bill this year.

Actually I would like to have Bruce here in KC. Other than Tony G I believe we have no real possession recievers. I mean some one who we can count on to go over the middle on a crucial 3rd down.

We now have some speed at reciever with Parker and Bo back. Morton will more than likely be gone IMO. Kennison has shown some ability to be there when needed but not consistantly like Bruce.

Yes that is not a bad history at all only missing 5 starts in 6 years. He's ahd a lot of hammy problems the last few years that have slowed him down. They may not keep him out of games, but they have hampered his production. I don't necessarily think hamstrings are recurring type injuries though.

If I had my choice, I'd prefer Moulds.

I just found that they reworked his deal.

FL Projected 2005 Salary Cap Figure: Approx. $85.5 Million
Bills Money Allocated For 2005: approx. $77.3 Million: - The Bills are now under the cap by approx. $2 Million. as of 3/15

The cap figure the Bills have now will be based on estimates made in the media and our archived contract terms. This will include all contracts that will be handed out over the offseason to rookies, draft picks and any free agent signings. Below is a list of approximate cap figures from 2005 (in blue) for key players, we will update the list throughout the offseason. We stress that these numbers are our best estimates and may vary somewhat. Keep in mind the cap figures isn't the same as the cap hit if they are cut. If a player is cut ammortized portions of their bonus goes against the cap figure. In bold we give you the cap hit number if a player is released. Subtract that number from the cap figure gives you the amount saved by the release of a bubble player. We will update and fine tune these numbers as we get more information from various media sources:

QB Kelly Holcomb $1.165 M
C Trey Teague $3.62 M
RB Travis Henry $1.35 M $10,000 cap hit if traded.
CB Nate Clements $3.484 M $2.5 M hit if released.
QB Drew Bledsoe $4.33 M $Saved $2.2 M on the cap with his release.
WR Eric Moulds - $5.26 M New 3 yr. deal saves $3.54 Million in cap space.
FS Troy Vincent - $3.35 M $3 M hit if released. No real savings.
DE Aaron Schobel - $4.12 M - Cost more to cut him than release him.
OL Chris Villarial - $3.1 M - $2.7 M hit if released.
TE Mark Campbell - $1.087 M - $1 M hit if released.
S Lawyer Milloy - $4 M - $2.5 M hit if released before March..
LB Takeo Spikes - $5.4 M - $6.4 M hit if cut.
LB Jeff Posey - $1.7375 M - $875,000 hit if released..
LB London Fletcher - $3.9 M - $1.6 M cap hit if released..
WR Josh Reed - $855,000 - $400,000 hit if released..

At this point, I think it is more likely to see Peter Warrick in Red and Gold then it is Isaac Bruce. I would like to get younger at WR anyway.

Just read each of the 521 posts in the thread I started on Friday, and you'll get the gist quite quickly.

I'd take either, but I don't see how we could afford them...Warrick would be worth the risk, on a incentive laden deal...not much up front
