I'd be curious to read everyone's thoughts on the subject. I know there are purely religious reasons for avoiding it... and purely scientific reasons. But there are also some legitmate pro's (getting another Priest Holmes would be cool).

What do you like and/or dislike about it?

I would like to clone myself a thousand times and have them all sign up to post on the planet.

I'm against it simply because I know all the rich, narcissitic A-holes of the world would clone themselves.... we'd have 10 Steinbrenners and 12 Trumps running around...

i'm all for using the cloning process to duplicate cells and organs for medical purposes.

but i think actually cloning human beings completely is a very slippery slope that we probably shouldn't start.

and i'm not talking religious reason ... just the social issues alone from cloning would be drastic.

I would clone 2 of myself and seperate them at "birth". I would train both as ninjas but one good and one evil. Then upon their 21st birthday I would reveal them to each other and they could fight to the death on top of a skyscraper. There can be only one.

I'm sure gochiefs is all for it.

Personally, I consider it meddling with nature, and that's one broad you really shouldn't piss off. We already have a fun way of procreating, besides.

Steal a sample of a couple hot girl's hair, map thier DNA, grow them in a test tube, labotomize them and keep them as slaves in the basement.

I'm all for it.
