You and your kind allowed my wife and I to watch Sahara in an empty theater. Got our pick of any seat in the house, nobody talking, no line to get back out of the theater. Our movie started far enough between Star Wars showtimes that there was no line at the concessions or the ticket counter.

And the movie was pretty good. Certainly not a classic, but good. Good action, some pretty funny lines, decent acting and an interresting story. I recommend it. Especially now, when you can have the theater to yourself.

I liked Sahara, but I liked National Treasure more.

The little one loves National Treasure, we almost have it memorized already. We are really looking forward to seeing Sahara.

Question to those who have seen Sahara: Would it be good for a four year old to see in a theater?

You know, I don't remember any foul words or even seeing anyone be shot/killed. There are some pretty intense action scenes and a couple of pretty gross parts. I wouldn't take my three year old, but I don't know what your kid has/hasn't seen already.

I think this has more to do with the fact "Sahara" has been out more than a month now than anything "Star Wars" related....just saying...

The theater I went to I saw nobody anywhere in the building EXCEPT the Star Wars theaters. One of those things let out while we were walking to our theater and it was obviously packed. I'd say that has to be making a dent in the other picture's attendence.

Somewhat, but the overall movie selection is pretty weak right now. Basically there are not that many movies out there "sparking" the publics interest. This weekend will pick up quite a bit with the release of "Longest Yard" for the guys, and "Madagascar" for the families to go along with "Star Wars" of course.
