I know there have been several threads complaining about the costs and the such...Turns out it is not near as bad as most thought...or at least it doesn't have to be.

If you have the auto-renewal set up on the Sunday Ticket you get the best rate of $130 bucks or so...plus if you were a 2004 Sunday Ticket subscriber you get the HD Super Fan package for just $49 instead of $99...But that isn't just HD, it gives you this great channel that will show upto 8 games all on the same screen which is great for fantasy football junkies....Also at the end of each Sunday they have it where you can watch any game with every snap in 30 minutes or less as they splice the full games without commercials, timeouts and delays...Very cool to go see how a certain game actually went and a certain player might have played rather than read some know nothing journalist commentary.

So the Ticket, HD and those two new features are still well under $200 which is a great deal IMO.

Didnt I read something about a redzone channel for the Superfan package that would show the redzone plays live and recorded of games as they happened...for that FF junkie?

I am a ticket fan, but wont be doing the superfan this year, maybe next. I am waiting on the new Mpeg4 sats to get setup before I drop the dime to get a HD DVR.

Knowing the State of California they probably have an extra $60 tax added in... ROFL

They need to converge TV and Computers. Then you could click on the channel and it goes large.

Nap,

130 dollar Sunday Ticket is impossible.

I've had it since 1997 and my renewal rate is 199. It was 199 last year too, no way they are dropping it 60 dollars for renewals.
