not sure if your aware or even care for that matter but the Formula 1 US grand prix is also run today at the indy track. The race uses only half the oval and utilizes the infield track as well.
F1 is amazing in my opinion and by far the best form of auto racing.

wow,

just as has been suspected.. michelin teams have boycotted the race because of unsafe tyres and the unwillingness by the FIA to alter the track.

only 6 cars start the race.. a dark day for F1 IMO!
the fans are livid and rightly so, this sucks. only bridgestone teams, ferrari against only two of the crappiest teams in the sport.

I'd really like to see the Gore kid charge late and win it.

It's be a great story.

Skip if you could golf one round with any pro (living) who would it be?

I'd like to golf with Fred Funk. He seems really cool and kind of a 'working man's' PGA pro.

Yeah, I want Gore to win as well. I'd have to pick Tiger. He's the best I've ever seen.

Goosen has been my favorite golfer since he won in '01. I'd like to see him take his third and second in a row. He's such an unassuming guy.

I'd also like to see Gore make a charge too, or maybe Campbell. There's always one of these no names on Sunday who has a shot. SHould be a fun finish.

And as I type this Tiger absolutely crushed a drive. Damnit I wish I could hit half that far off the tee.

Yeah, he swung just about has hard as he could it looked like. That's got to be one of the greatest feelings, to swing as hard as you can at a golf ball and watch it go straight as an arrow down the fairway.

I think Goosen is one of the best, but everybody talks him up like he's the Larry Bird of clutch golfers... his first US Open title only went to a playoff because he missed a little short gimme putt to win. Then today he completely collapsed. What exactly has he done to earn such a clutch reputation? I couldn't understand why all the analysts talked him up as such other than his demeanor, but being quiet doesn't equal "ice in the veins".

It's more that his demeanor seems to fit well with an Open setup. He usually seems to come back from mistakes quite well. Today was an exception. Both he and Gore looked like deer in the headlights.

I think a lot of that was from his putting on the final day of the 2003 US Open. I agree though that his quiet demeanor has a lot to do with him being talked up as being clutch. Still I was kinda suprised he folded so bad today.

Ya Gore really took a dive. I wish he would done better so there would hae been three people in the mix at the end. Even though at the end it was just watching to see if Campell would beat himself. I think that NZ is freaking awesome so I was glad that he won.
