some buddies and i went last night. the place is pretty sweet. there are 15inch flat screens at each table, live music, a huge outdoor patio, awesome drink specials, and a free midnight buffet on monday nights. also on monday nights they have $1 drinks. hurting today but it was worth it. plus if you ride a motorcycle they have upfront parking for bikes.

There is a Mickey's Irish Pub in Clive and Ames here in Iowa. I wonder if the guy that owns them here has decided to expand.

It is. Or at least he's franchising them. I remember seeing Help Wanted signs on the tables a year or so ago, looking for people willing to relocate in Neb, Kan, and Mizzou.
There's also one in Waukee, but the service is horrible.

There isn't a bar in the land worth an hour wait. If I can't go inside, get a beverage, and get comfortable it's time to go to the next bar.

Having skip dole out grief is like a badge of honor on this board.
