How do you make animated gifs smaller?

Okay... I've been trying to make some animated gifs for avatars, but I'm having a difficult time getting them under 50k. They're only about 1.5 seconds, so they're pretty short, and they're only 120x80 pixels, so they're pretty small, but I can't get them under the 50k mark.

I worked it some, but in order to get it under 50k I was forced to make it look like shit. Sorry, it's too long of an animation.

I would suggest using it in your sig.
