Nah. I'm usually heading to bed right about now. We've been working over 2 hours M-Th at work for OT (which puts me getting home at 2:30AM). it's got my sleep schedule moved back a few hours. We're doing the same thing next week, so why disrupt it by going to bed early on the weekend? I do, however, wish I had some alcohol. I could very easily go get some, but I spent a little too much buying stuff for the family we adopted for Christmas at work. Have to move the alcohol budget into the OT pay I'll be getting on my check on Friday. Boy, I'm long winded, huh?

I actually haven't had anything to drink since lunch. Had a Boulevard wheat with my sandwich. Had a bloody mary at the airport and two screwdrivers on the flight in before that. I wanted another wheat with dinner, but we went out and grandpa handed me the keys, so I passed. A pity too, a cold draft wheat would have been the perfect compliment to that Jack Stack dinner.

I went and got some 2 Below tonight, since it was a topic of conversation the other night. I like it. I definitely see where it might cause conflicting reactions. It has an almost funkiness to it. The experience, to me, is like a good cheese. I taste it and smell it, and at first it has this weirdness behind the rest of the flavors. After a bit, I start to actually enjoy the weirdness more than anything else.

Anything you would compare it too that i might recognize?

Its a Belgian ale. I would put it in the category of Delerium, Chimay or Leffe Blonde if you've ever had either of those.

This Belgian favorite is best enjoyed chilled (40 - 50 F) with discerning friends or good-looking strangers.

Nope, had the other 2 at work, it's slim pickins at the casa this evening. So now it's shower time, and then to the bar where I can have whatever I want, and then to some yet to be determined philly's house for sexy time. :thumb:

I have to recommend Tito's Vodka to anyone. I'm not a vodka guy but Tito's vodka does not taste like anything. You can mix it with whatever you want and it just takes on that flavor. Amazing...

Yeah, it all depends on what you've spent your time building up a tolerance towards.

For me, sake and brandy are both too quick.

I may try the 12 yr Macallum "gift" I've had for over a year now, again....although I don't know why. I just think the whole sick-from-JD-at the-Stones-1982-"Farewell"-Tour kinda of ruined me for whiskeys, except for the most mild....Canadian Mist/Crown kinda things.

Nah, I think I'll go for a Jagerbomb and a Boulevard BullyPorter....or six. :hmmm:

If someone is ever in Sioux Falls, the Macallum is yours if you want it. :)

Not a Scotch fan.....keep it unopened and put it on Ebay in 10 years.
Fetch a pretty penny.

Bourbon occasionally. Saw NOA talk of Woodford Reserve. IMO the best Kentucky bourbons out.

Bully is good, I was impressed with the Sam Black lager.

You can keep the Jager (aka Vicks Formula 44)...Germans I know laugh at Jager.

Damn, I've opened the Macallum. Thought, "eh....twenty-five years ago sick" wouldn't faze me. Eh, I was wrong.

Jager is all about efficiency. The RedBull and the "quick" 4 oz of liquor in two shots....makes the "Bully''s work less arduous. :)

100 proof Smirnoff
80 proof Kaluha "Especiale'" = "efficiency"
