Goddamnit. I love my son, but the little f*cker is too smart for his own good. Should a five-year-olt really know the difference between parallel and series when it comes to batteries and shocking the crap out of his old man?

You'll get a pass then. Though it still does not sound good to me; I just don't care for coffee.

And I would have to question one's sanity mixing whiskey and hot coffee in the middle of f#cking August. But what ever floats your boat I guess....

Hourglass figure? I'm not sure I'm comfortable sitting next to bill anymore.

I drink considerably less beer now than I did in college... course, I also drink better beer... so, that could be a wash. I eat better than I did then... and I'm still about 20 lbs heavier. I used to be a stick man.

LOL..

I have to do 45 minutes of cardio 4-5 times a week and lift weights 3 times a week just so I can drink like a fish and keep my weight the same...I think I would look like Orson Wells if I didn't work out and continued to drink like I do..

I considered it briefly, but it would be just too much of a pain in the ass. I fly into StL when I go to Rolla, cause it's just an hour and a half drive down I-44. To go from Rolla to KC is 3.5 hrs cause there's not a direct route. I don't rent a car cause there's always someone in StL going down I can ride with... and, really, if I'm in Rolla, I don't need to be driving. So, for me to pull that off I'd have to secure a ride from StL to Rolla on Friday, and a ride up to KC on Sunday... and somehow get from KC to StL after the game... or fly out from KC... or... oh, hell. It was just too much hassle to think about. I'll watch the game somewhere in Rolla. With any luck while getting a blowjob.

Yeah, apparently I wasn't even an itch in my daddy's pants yet.

During the spring of 1970, the men of Delta Tau Delta fraternity decided to undertake the formation of a little sister organization. Their ultimate goal was to form a local sorority which would be chartered by a national sorority.

On May 14th, interested girls and Delts met to form the skeleton of the organization. So it went, through the summer and into the fall. There were ups and downs, and slowly but surely the group pulled through.

In the fall of 1971 came the first pledge class, the Sigma Deltas. The 1971-1972 year saw a lot of hard work and broken nails while the girls chose the sorority with which they wanted to affiliate. Finally, a petition for colonization was sent to Zeta Tau Alpha Fraternity for women. On May7, 1972, Eta Theta colony of Zeta Tau Alpha was installed.

Man... I don't know if I've ever even played Mexican. This is gonna sound ****ed up, but I never even played Asshole til after college. The big game in Rolla was 3-man. I used to always carry a couple pair of dice in my pocket cause you never knew when a game would break out.

I just threw a 2-1, bitch! DRINK! :cuss:

:p

This game takes a bit to catch onto, but once understood, quite a competitive game.

1. Someone arbitrarily goes first by rolling the dice. The score for the dice is as follows:

2 & 1 = Mexican, the highest possible roll.
If you throw one of these, the eventual loser has to drink double the standard drinking quantity being used for the game. Each subsequent mexican in that round will double the required drink for loser. More easily understood later.

3 & 1 = scumbag
the thrower immediately has to consume one drink. This throw does not count as one of the thrower's goes.

Any double
100 times the double i.e., double 1 scores 100, double 2 scores 200 etc.

Any other throw
The highest number multiplied by 10 + the smallest number i.e., 5 & 4 scores 54, 6 & 1 scores 61 etc.

2. The starter has the choice of one, two of three rolls to obtain the best score they can. The starter's score is the score of their last throw i.e., if you throw a 61 then 63 with your first two throws and elect to take a third throw, you must count the third throw even if it's lower. Every other player in the game has the choice of throwing up to as many times as the starter i.e., if the starter takes one throw, all other players have only one throw.

3. Holding a dice - if a player has more than one throw available, they may hold a 1 or a 2 (if thrown) for subsequent throws i.e., if you have 2 or 3 throws and you throw a 4:1 on your first go, you may, if you wish, only pick up the 4 and throw it as your next go. This tactic will increase your chance of a mexican, while also increasing your chance of a low score or scumbag. If you throw a scumbag you may not hold the 1.

4. The loser is the person who throws the lowest score. In the event of a tie, all players with the lowest score must roll one dice and the lowest number loses.

Play as many rounds as desired.

The not-so-new job is still awesome. I'm making less money than I ever have since graduating from college, but I couldn't be happier. I'm doing work I love, I really dig the folks I work with... my quality of life is so much better when I don't dread the majority of my awake hours like I used to.

Glad to hear it. As a teacher, I agree....money isn't everything. Liking what you do, is real important. More important than most young folks realize, I think.

However, we are weighing the Pros and Cons of me changing careers, and I'd prefer a "warmer" climate (although we haven't discussed Ovens) so we'll see. At my age, it's now or wait to start a "second career" after retiring from teaching.....15 years from now.

Ironically, I'm dry tonight. On a biz trip, I don't think I've flown in years without drinking. I just figure I'm flying for biz, I might as well treat myself. I was even lucky enough to be in first class tonight and passed on the free booze.
I wrecked it up pretty good Saturday night and so I watched us beat the bolts with a pretty severe stomach ache. So, I'm taking her easy for a while. I even refused the minibar key at the front desk when I checked in (me??!!)
Ya know what, though? It feels good. I find this evening no less interesting without the typical two or three or four beers I would have had.

Yes. The difference is noticable. But the price is about 3X more. 12 year old Macallan is about $40. 18 year old Macallan is about $120.

The 12 is excellent, though. But the 18 is unbelievable. And I won't even try the 25 because I simply can't afford it ($300 a bottle) and don't want to be tempted.
