Emil Brown on a 12 game hitting streak. It'd be great if we could trade him for a pitching prospect or something.

Dont we have enough pitching prospects, damn. Get rid of Lima and let them get some innings.

There all up here in the bigs. In the minors, we really only have Luis Cota. Everyone else has been unspectacular to say the least, but not hopeless. Also, you're right about Lima. Just release his a**. Send him back to Newark!

Agree 100%. Lima time is long since over. We are like, what...25 games out or something like that? What could it hurt to let the rookies play and see what we have? We sure as heck ain't going to win the friggin pennant.

Interesting. Elvis and DJ have been our most solid pitchers the past few weeks. They come to Colorado and their control goes bye-bye.

You know, we don't get to play teams like Colorado or Tampa Bay very often. Teams BTW that are worse than we are. And when we do the Royals always end up looking like a American Legion team against them. :cuss: :banghead: :cuss:

If the Royals always look like an American Legion team against them, then I'd have to question the accuracy of your assessment that the Royals are better than they are.

We don't have anyone else to put in there. Our pen is depleted at the moment, so we have to keep the starter in there to protect our few healthy pen arms.

You know since I live here in Scottsbluff and we get FSRM. I don't get to see the Royals on TV very often. My GF loves the Rockies and Bronco's :banghead: But I never realized what a fatass Elvis is. He needs to lose about 30lbs of ass alone. ROFL

I was reading something in the paper the other day where someone mentioned that you have to be a 1st strike pitcher at Coors Field and not rely on breaking balls. Because at the altitude the breaking balls don't break as sharply. You have to bring a good fastball. Don't know if there's any truth to that at all since it's the first I've heard of that. :hmmm:
