I tried loading up my NWN, and it did fine until HoU when it wouldn't reade the disk saying that there was a "stream read error." What is that and how do I get around it. It would load up fine on my old computer.

you could try copying the disc to your hard drive and installing from there.

A piece of goop got in the pipe. A "stream read error" could be a lot of things, but generally speaking when someone opens a file/device/network connection for I/O it's referred to as a stream. So it could have been an error reading a file - as in the 'end of file' character showed up before the end, or the file was corrupt, or some other process interrupted the read. Could be your CD is scratched.
