Just like most of the girls at the time. Usually had to sling my pole into a different High School and fish for something better than was at mine.

Ours is supposedly the only one in the country: Millionaires.

The story:

The Williamsport area in Central Pennsylvania was once the center for logging in the world. The area was so OVER-logged that the mountains were cut bald. As a result, many people got very rich (as this was in the mid 1800's wood was in great demand). These rich people took up residence in Williamsport. It is said that at one point (not sure of the year or anything) Williamsport had the highest Millionaire population per capita in the world. There is a street here in town (Third Street) that is still known as Millionaire's row. The houses are run down and not exactly the nicest part of town now, but you could see how they were impressive houses back in their day. When the local high school was trying to come up with a unique name for the area, that incorporated local history, someone brought up the Millionaire trivia and so it stuck. Our colors are Cherry and White and the logo is a tophat, cane, and gloves (pretty gay). The mascot at football and basketball games is a guy that basically looks like the Monopoly guy (again, gay).

Yes, lettered 3 years on the football team. We were good back then. 9-1 our senior season. Did a little throwing of the Shot Put and Discuss my Junior Year but the coach was a little silly, expecting the field guys to run as much as the track guys, made it so onerous a bunch of us quit all at the same time.

Yeah they had the butterfly, but didn't they also have the little king guy? I knew they had images of him, but I never knew what the official mascot was since I was only there for the last half of my senior year.

My Junior Year/Your Senior year you kicked our butt 36-3. I kicked a 38 yard field goal with about 5 minutes left in the game for our only points.

IN B-Ball, my job was to bring the ball downcourt find either our Center or Shooting Guard, pass to them and then stay back to play defense in case of a missed shot. The only game I ever scored in double figures landed me on the bench to start the next game, because I took too many shots according to the Coach. I scored 24 and missed only 2 shots, but our star Center only scored 5 points all night.
