The first round of Pride is 10 minutes - and it's as intense as UFC. There are a lot more international fighters in Pride, and from my understanding, Pride is where the UFC elites go.

UFC kicks @ss! I have a buddy that's getting real close to making it. Maybe another year or so. He was the main-event at the Delta Center two weeks ago. Ultimate Combat put on that event.

I love em! I've got a whole bunch of UFC's on my computer. Maybe I can start putting up some torrents of those too. ;)

Dru, I recommend you obtain Pride FC Total Elimination and Critical Countdown - it's a single elimination tournament (2 rounds so far) and it's f*cking intense.

I was really into it until it got around the 20's and they divided up all the weight classes. I was not a fan of that.

About that time I got more into Pride fighting and the japanese MMA PPV's.

I guess after Gracie and Tank Abbot I never really found a fighter that captured my attention.

Watch it all the time but prefer Pride. Those last Pride fights were great. Looks like California may start allowing these fights even though we have always done them illegally. Those are some fun fights to go to, all the beer you can drink and hella cheap. The last one I went to got raided by what seemed like a bizzillion cops. I have two friends fighting in the first one that should jump off here in October of this year in the compaq arena. Frank Shamrock and Cesar Gracie.

UFC and PRide are both great.

I prefer Pride alittle more, but UFC is very good too.

How did you meet Shamrock? How old is he?

Be sure to tune into Spike TV on August 6th for live fights from Vegas. A guy from my home town will be making his UFC debut in front of a nationwide audience. Good luck to Josh "The Dentist" Neer vs. Drew Fickett!!!
