The thread pretty much explains itself in the subject header. I was watching AE the other day and thought about who would have a biography most interesting to see or read.

Tough question. Who has lived an interesting life? I dunno - an older veteran might have some interesting stories to tell.

Biography or autobiography? It would depend, because "interesting" is the operative word.

I would probably find several true-to-life biographies of how certain posters have become who they are, fascinating.....heh. On the other hand, those folks are so self-delusional their autobiographies would be fiction, if not comics. :)

The question all depends on whether we'd use stuff that we tell other people or if we only use what has really happened to us.

Seriously, I could write a book. Unfortunately, 95% of it would be NSFW.

But here's a safe one that comes to mind. We had a 68 Ford customized school bus for a tour bus. After a while, the brakes went out. We couldn't afford new brakes, so we drove it for months with no brakes at all. When it came time to stop, an available band member would open the door and drag his foot till the bus finally stopped. I'm dead serious.

Another safe one- once at a big gig, a nice looking brunette started aggressively hitting on me during the breaks- too much so, I thought. Then after the show, she followed me back to the room and REALLY started to put the moves on. It almost approached desperate on her end, which turned me off. Finaly I said NO. Then with a sigh, she said "OK, here's the deal. I'm ovulating and want a baby. I walked in, saw you on stage, and immediately knew I wanted you to be the father of my baby. I promise not to hold you resposible. Can we have sex now?" I don't need to tell you how quickly I kicked her out.

Well, that's just a couple. Maybe I'll start a thread for this sometime.. confession is good for the soul.

I probably haven't lived the exotic lives that many on here have, but from some of the jobs I have held, I could tell some pretty interesting stories....

I've been in the Credit field for almost 30 years, and got my start as a Repo guy.....I've repossessed cars, furniture, jewelry, houses, boats, and several other unmentionable things. And the things I have been offered to NOT repo these items.....and the compromising situations that i have witnessed... :shake:

Yeah, but I remember that one. There's plenty of funny stuff from college (and beyond) that I don't remember.

And, holy cow... you're right. Wow... fifty thousand posts. How pathetisad is that?
