So what do you think the guys at Bang are trying to say?

Pretty funny. I liked when the Browns guys kept walking though the door.

That they made a series of low risk signings and the team is in better shape because one of them may work out.

Somebody should post this at the Drane.

Of course, they'd probably agree with it.

In all fairness to the Broncos they did make some other moves in the offseason that were shrewd. I mean how can you not respect them drafting Maurice Clarett in the 3rd round. Sure there was speculation that he may not have been drafted at all, but I digress. Plus they drafted a 5'8" cornerback with their first pick. They are now better equipped to defend really really low passes.

They needed a guy to cover Quintin Griffin man-to-man and eye-to-eye in practice.

So the Tennessee Titans blew their first round pick, eh?

Probably. He's an inch taller than ummmmm Darrent Williams. Maybe there are a lot of quality corners in the NFL under 5'9" tall, but they just don't come to mind. Then again, maybe the Broncos struck gold and found the next Mark McMillan aka Mighty Mouse. He was so cute when he flexed his muscles only to turn around and find the flags for pass interference littering the field.

Actually the Titans should have taken Rolle IMO.

In all fairness I'll say that Darrent Williams has the chance to be a good player in the NFL. From watching him its obvious he is a superb athlete with great speed. The question is if he can overcome some large obstacles to become an impact guy.

#1. Size. He's tiny. Sometimes that won't hurt a player. More than not it will, though. Pac-Man will struggle with this too.

#2. Character. IIRC he was held out of a bowl game last year. Can he mature enough to be a team player?

#3. Injuries. I can't claim first hand knowledge on this but my buddies from OSU say the kid had problems staying healthy.

So if he can overcome those issues then I could see him playing well in the NFL. And while I'm willing to concede Williams might turn out well I was puzzled by the Paymah and Foxworth selections. I thought Foxworth was a Day 2 pick for sure.
