PFSi and Kansas City Chiefs source Tony Finn reports that free-agent CB Ty Law is still a serious option for the Chiefs. According to sources close to the Finn camp, the Chiefs front office have asked specific players to restructure their contracts to fit Law under the current cap requirements. According to Finn, the Chiefs are willing to give Law a one year deal heavily loaded with performance tiers and a second year based solely on his playing time in 2005. Speculation of Law's injured foot continues to be the biggest hurdle in an organization taking a chance on the All-pro. Considering the current corner situation in Kansas City, the addition of Law would certainly be a lift to the fantasy stock of the Chiefs defense

I searched the first few pages to see if this has been reported, but you can't do a search for "Ty" or "Law" cause there aint enough letters :(

I found this here! (http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=135795)

Thu Jul 14, 2005 --from FFMastermind.com

ESPN's John Clayton reports the Kansas City Chiefs expected the four-game suspension of CB Eric Warfield. That's why they signed CB Ashley Ambrose last week and told him that they would also like to add CB Ty Law. Law is still hoping for a $6 million-a-year deal. That's too much for the Chiefs' salary cap, particularly after they paid big money to obtain CB Patrick Surtain from the Dolphins.

Ty Law? Who is this Ty Law you speak of?

Didn't he say in the piece on NFL Live that he doesn't want a one year deal?

IMO, if we get him, great. If not, no big deal. I don't like the ego on a guy who is recovering from a pretty serious injury for a cornerback. He needs to come down to earth a bit.

Throw us a frickin bone Ty!

Who are you? Greg Robinson? Then maybe we convert that corner to safety and then back to corner?

Or have a D-Lineman dropping into coverage in the middle?

Or a D-End playing one-on-one match-up aganist a WR?

I don't tend to regard fantasy football sites as reliable sources for up-to-the-minute NFL news. Just a quaint rule-of-thumb.

Just Say NO to Ty Law for all the money he wants.

I'd be nice at the right price, I don't see it happening.

Reality needs to set in on CP.

If he wants a 1 yr deal for 6 mil, give it to him. Even if he demands a 2 yr contract at the maximum, still pay him. He's worth it.
