I never thought it would come to this on a friday night....Might as well get used to it.

Since Iowanian seems all upset about a missing night crew thread, here goes...

I was sitting at the house the other, watching the Criterion version of "Man Bites Dog" when the a scene came on with this girl's tits exposed... anyway, I let out this wicked fart -- damn near crapped my pants. After that... I needed a beer.

I think I covered all the regular topics... movies, beer, farts and tits. All is good.

Well, I was watching a movie one time, where I was sitting on my recliner, and I noticed that my recliner says that it's a floating device. I thought to myself "Cool. Now I can go float around in the Gulf of Mexico, clinging to a bunch of beer farts." Then I might get lucky by getting on a land, where I see a bunch of girls' tits are exposed.

One of the great films of all time. Bergman at his best... it's a little slow, but if that doesn't bother you, it's truly an amazing film.

Short enough?

Even though I enjoyed Aviator from a historical perspective I did not think it was best, picture, or best actor quality. Definitely not best director, too long, scenes drag on and on the point having long been made and being lost. Though I have hated Alda in everything he has done after M*A*S*H* I could possibly see him being considered for a Supporting Actor nomination. Movie was not at all crisp and somewhat of a letdown.

I'm just not a LOTR fan and although I appreciate where you're coming from with the actors in Mystic River I still thought it was a very good movie.

I'm also making a note not to discuss movies with you later today unless of course it's Solaris.
