Strongly prefer McGahee... I think he's gonna be the next real stud RB and he's young.

If he's genuinely matured....and can stay healthy?

I appear to be in the minority so far. I've seen very little of McGahee, but I wasn't that impressed with what I saw. Henry impresses me.

Henry might be good in the right system; if somehow Priest retires and LJ breaks the bank with his demands (is this his last contract year, or is next?), and he ended up in Red and Gold next year....that wouldn't suck. But he'll probably go somewhere else, and start.

I just think McGahee has more talent, and long-term potential...

It is not like the difference between LJ and Priest hugely different RBs and Priest is the most TD prolific RB I have ever seen. These two are pretty close, I guess because of age I would take McGahee, but otherwise I rate them as even.

Henry in the Donks system would be incredible....

That being said I'd rather have LJ replacing Priest than either of the guys...

For youth factor i would go with McGahee.

McBrokeKnee can go to another team if all other factors are equal (contract, etc). In the NFL you have to consider sustained production, which Henry has.

If Henry was holding out for a bunch more money I'd be Ok lineing McGayHee-hee up, though.

Henry was traded to the Titans for a 3rd round pick in 2006. I can't see Brown beating him for the starting job.

Though the stats look comparable I'd be interested in the fumbles category. Travis has had problems holding on to the rock.

I'd take McGahee in a second. Living in Toronto, all we get is the Bills (have to buy the ticket every year to see my Chiefs - small price for 3 hours of bliss, or heartache a week). Henry fumbles too much and McGahee is younger and stronger. He'll put up huge numbers in Buff this year while Henry will whine about giving up any plays to Brown. Plus, Tenn is going to be useless this year which spells an unhappy Henry to go with his declining career.

Poz,

Where is the best place to see the game at Buffalo. We are going to be getting tickets soon and would like to have suggestions. Can't wait until the game.....

Can't wait for the game myself. My buddy is a Bills fan and he is getting us someones season's tickets. Last year I sat in the lower (of 2) bowls on the goal line for a Jets game and they were pretty good (McGahee scored twice). Dress warm. It gets cold and windy there. Also, if you're gonna wear lots of red & gold be prepared for those Bills fans, they can be quite unhospitable, especially when they get pounded as they will on that Sunday. I'll be ready!! STFU

Rain Man,

Nice poll. I strongly prefer McGahee and see a potential upside. I think the 2006 season he will be completely healed and we'll really see what he is made of.
