That little can is worth more than the diamond that would normally be there.

On a side note, i've been looking for a ring for a bit now, and damn that shit is stupid expensive. Its torture because I know diamonds aren't rare at all, and the price is very artificial. Oh well, gotta buy one anyways.

I laughed. But of course KCChiefsman not getting a joke of mine would be a badge of honor more so.

On a side note I found this site while trolling for pictures of rings.

http://pictures.cerala.com/ring/Engagement/dirindex.html

Two observations:

1. This chick is obsessed with her digital camera
2. Judging by the "width" of that finger Endelt is getting married and hasn't told us.

you're right about that. I'm not easily stumped, but I don't spend 2 months salary to fill my tank up

Oh well, gotta buy one anyways.I'm in the perfect situation. What's the saying, you're supposed to spend a third of your annual salary (that's how f*cked up society is, a partnership begins like that...). Well, if I meet a woman now and get enganged, I can buy her a box of crackerjacks and hope the prize is a ring. Hell, I'd be spending half my bankroll right now on that. That's LOVE, baby, I could tell her.

I know a guy (who's now divorced) who used this on his (now ex) wife:

"So what qualities do you want the ring to have? Cut, color, and clarity, right? So the best of those for the least we can get them for, right? Cool, cubic zirconium it is."

I've thought about that off and on since then. Truth be told, he's dead on right. Why DO people want a real diamond so damn bad?

Wow. Chick needs another hobby.

After viewing the size of that finger, I became curious and sought out more pics on her site. I figure her dick must be about 14 inches or so....

I think I remember reading somewhere that jewelry (specifically diamonds) and furniture are the items that marked up the most (like something 300% or more)

wouldn't surprise me.
