If what I heard is true... do you think we should approach him??

Hell yes (as long as he's healthy)

We should have offered a 7th for him along with Surtain.

I think you need to quit eating the crumbs from the Urinal Mints DensemyI is snacking on if you believe that.

I like him, but IMHO he's been an overrated MLB for some time now. He's solid, but not particularly special, IMHO.

Someone called me a while ago and told me KC was talking with him, as Miami is about to cut him. I'm not saying I'm 100% sure or anything...hell I'm not even 50% sure, just thought I'd share what I heard. But usually this guy only spills when there's some truth in it. and no, It's not Mr. ATHAN.

He'd probably go to New England.

why do we even want z tom?

we already have the scanman...

where would you put z tom, anyway?

ahead of key fox and derrick johnson?

he sure won't take boomer's spot...

oh ooh, i get it...

he's gonna take maz's slot...

Yeah, don't mistake me or anything. I'd definitely take him. He doesn't suck.

I'm just saying that I'm not *quite* sure how he made the pro bowl for a few years there. I'd take Bruschi over Zach any day of the week.

Thomas does seem like a good guy, though. I have alot of respect for most of the Dolphins players. Hard to hate that team when they have those kinds of guys on there. But if you work hard enough at it... :D

Zach Thomas would be the starting LB on KC, not depth. Let's wait and see how the LB's do against real competition before declaring we have so much depth. The same depth that got its ass kicked last year.

good god, that would give us a scary and scarily deep LB corps

I'd rather wait for Ray Lewis to become available.

Skip,

Didn't you read the other thread? I could block Ray Ray's ass now at this stage of his career.

I'll take Zach Thomas anytime. I could imagine if he was available, the Chiefs would look at him. I recall Gunther praising him the day we drafted Boomer Grigsby. kchiefsqt, where do you hear this? I'd like to know.

that's what I was thinking...

I would take him in a heartbeat! He would immediately fill the MLB spot ahead of Mitchell, it might "hinder" Mitchell's progress but this absolutely HAS to be the year for the Chiefs!

btw, rep for your sig! that rocks

I'd take a 3rd Ex-Dolphin starter for our D. Thomas is also very vocal and a great leader. He'd be perfect.

I have to respectfully disagree on a few things. First ZT would have to learn the Dfense and Mitchel has been Gunthers Bitch all summer learning. ZT is on the downside of his career- a great career-but he has been hurt didn't he miss some games last year.
Ray Lewis would be great if we need someone stabbed in a bar or a dance instructor. That little 10 minute jig he did last Monday night when the Chiefs played the Ravens was great-so was his imitation of a pancake after Waters ran over him repeatedly was special too. Halfcan
