I was just wondering what happened to the idea of getting the Planet some press passes and starting to run a content oriented site around the already popular board (something far easier than establishing a board around a site).

just curious,

I don't think Phobia thought the idea would work well. But I would love people to post articles to make it happen.

Chiefsplanet is a message board.

There will be no podcasts.
No cool website with articles.
This is it, folks.

Enjoy Coca-cola.

Some 'real' content on the site would be a nice addition.

Don't press passes give great access to practices and what not though...

Seriously, CP has 100% access to Ali Chi3fs posts. If Kyle lived in KC, around the hype and information blitz, he would want to do more... but as long as CP has Ali Chi3fs posting, there really is no need for advancements on the site.

This is an idea we have not abandoned. That is all I can say.

if my high quality posts are in anyway interferring with the advancement of the site, then let me know. I know that my postings are an adequate substitution for having actual content, but if my posting makes progressions become complacent, then I can post less.

Seriously, all the comedy gold is hard on everyones cheek muscles.

I'll give it a shot.....

According to my inside sources, the Chiefs are still in the running for Ty Law. The Chiefs are working on a 6 team trade that would send Law to KC. Here's what I'm hearing:

The Chiefs would send Tynes, Eric "one for the road" Warfield, Fujita, 3 cold Dr. Pepper 24 oz. bottles and a Quarter Pounder to the Cowboys for Roy Williams. The Chiefs would then trade Williams and a sixer of Natty Light to the Eagles for Owens. Owens would be sent to SF for Johhny Morton and his partner. Morton and his significant other would be traded to Detroit (Millen secretly has a "thing" for gay football players, plus he wants to keep Jeff Garcia happy) for Joey Harrington. The Chiefs would then send Harrington and a big block of cheddar cheese to the Broncos for Jake Plummer and 12 ex Browns. The Chiefs would then send the Browns, Plummer and a case of Old English to the Jets for Law and a used 2003 Deluxe model Rascal. According to my source this deal should be completed sometime in the next 48 hours.
