Irvin's vote doesn't count, he's just there to make noise and say outrageous things.

I was amazed to hear Tom Jackson aka Mr. Bronco pick the Chiefs. Of course his pick is worth about a quarter square of cheap toilet paper.

And Berman wants to say sandiegosuperchargers instead of Chefs.

Irvin would pick the Raiders. What a cocksucker. I wonder what kind of drug he was on when he decided. What, does he think Randy Moss is going to change that sorry bunch of human excrement. Oakland Sucks and Al Davis Swallows.

The Chiefs are never a fashionable pick in the preseason.

Also I honestly believe a lot of sportswriters felt like we made them look stupid last year when they picked us to win and we tanked.

Say what you will, but I think that's part of the reason we're getting no love this year.

Why would anybody be surprised? Tommy has picked the Chiefs 3 years in a row to win the division. The guy doesn't just homer it up like some ignorantly believe.

Was I nuts or did Irvin say in reference to Oakland that a good offense can be the best defense, only to turn right around and say KC didn't do enough to strengthen the D?

Irvin is far and away the absolute dumbest talking sportshead. And THAT'S REALLY SAYING SOMETHING. It amazes me that he can speak and walk upright.

Berman could probably be semi-intelligent if he would ever take a minute to talk before he speaks.

Jackson is obviously the intellectual star of this group.

But it doesn't mean that his opinion means jack shit. It must be proven on the field.

The Chiefs are never a fashionable pick in the preseason. And there's some question as to why that is?

They just look at the odds. Only the Dallas Cowboys have won more playoff games than Oakland's 25. On the other hand, you gotta count a playoff win by the Dallas Texans to say that the Chiefs have 8 wins - one more playoff victory than Sandy Eggo. And you wonder why nobody picks KC?

KC's been a really trendy pick the past two seasons. Last year around this time when ESPN got together their "experts" to predict the season, only the Pats got more votes to win the Super Bowl than the Chiefs did. John Clayton, Tom Jackson, Sal Pal, Mark Schlereth, and Randy Mueller all picked KC to win it all. And a few others picked KC to make the Super Bowl but lose to the NFC team, usually the Eagles.

But after letting down the people who've picked them the past two seasons, not to mention the potential log-jam at the top of the AFC and the West in particular being declared the toughest division, not many people are going to go out on a limb to pick the Chiefs this time around.

Sharpe is sometimes kinda funny at least. Irvin is just plain retarded and doesn't know how to control the volume of his voice. Remember this quote?

Do I like him...no.
Is he my friend....no
Would I help him in a snow storm if his car was broken down....no.

That was a classic.

Nah, he knows how to control the volume. He gauges everyone else's volume on the show he's on and raises his 10dB louder to be heard over them.

Another thing just crossed my mind, I wish we had Deion Sanders. He's better than any other CB on our roster except Surtain. I say trade Woods and a conditional pick for him!

Killer reasoning!

Lemme call vegas and put down my bet for a Oakland-Dallas Superbowl, surely all those playoff wins in the 60's 70's 80's and 90's mean something now....in 2005/06
:spock:

I'm also NOT talking about the playoffs at all, I'm talking about winning the west.

When I say KC isn't a trendy pick, I mean it's cause we're a smaller market team and don't really have a huge fan following in other markets. F*** where are ticket holders home addresses are, you all know it's true.

Irvin is just obsessed with WRs. Seriously, did anyone here him talking about TO yesterday? Ugh. That is why he picked the Raiders. Because they have the best WR corps in the division.
