I've known a lady for 3 months who I just found out this evening dated Lin.... Apparently his kissing skills were wide right because she claims he couldn't kick past the 20.

I am trying to figure out the sexual innuendo, but am drawing a blank.

ROFL Marty without a kicker, that is going to suck for him.

Right here. Kaeding will be kicking in the NFL long past any other rookie in 2004.

Depends on your definition of football. The NFL held a game, yes. Whether or not I'd call it football is a different matter.

I was one of his big pimps. You should have seen him kick at Iowa. He drilled those 40-50 yarders daily and in games. I suppose like other kickers, he's going to bounce around and then land at a team where it will all come togeather for him. Keading will make alot of money in the NFL for many years albeit maybe NOT for the CHARGERS, which is going
to be a good thing for Chiefs fans.

I'm really suprised he's struggling as much as he is. He was clutch in college from just about any distance. I have to think at some point he'll get it all worked out.

Um, That kid is a rookie, and ryan Longwell has been clutch now in the NFL for 8 years. Give him a break, geesh

I must admit that preseason games unless I am in person at Arrowhead are pretty much unwatchable. However, the 4th quarter of last nights game was just awesome. Watching GB give the ball back time after time and seeing Kaeding miss FG after FG was awesome. I so enjoyed it and my daughter asked if I was watching a Chiefs game cause I was so into him missing those FG's. Good times..

Remember this before bashing Tynes.

By the way, how many did Kaeding miss and from what distances?

The Bolts had their opportunities, but kicker Nate Kaeding failed to connect on tries of 42, 45, and 46 yards, allowing Green Bay to stick around. The Chargers also commited 12 penalties turned the ball over once.

42, 45, and 46? I have to agree with the thread starter.

That game reminded me too much of the 95 playoff game, same final score too.

Man Carl might have made the smarter decision with Wilson over Keading, hard to admit that since I pimped Keading so much last year.

I watched Nate hit every clutch kick in sight for three years. Last night was horrible for him but it's only one night. Who knows what the circumstances were behind the scenes?
He had a damn fine rookie year last year;had he hit that play-off winning kick everyone would just be saying "oh well Nate had a bad game last night but he'll be fine".
We'll see what the season brings but I'm still down with Nate.

Consider this more of a poke at all the people that blew up last year when we drafted Kris Wilson with our second second round pick instead of Nate. Of course Wilson gets injured in the last preseason game and is out for most of the year, so it can go either way.
